There are a number of risks to the security of transactions over
the Internet. However, we are committed to maintaining the privacy
and security of your financial transactions with us. We will do
everything in our power to keep your sensitive personal and financial
information secure.
Security
systems currently in place at Global Tax Network include, but are
not limited to, high encryption password protection, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) 128-bit encryption,
hardware firewall systems,
password lookups with minimum requirements for login and password
lengths, ISS Internet Scanner and Database Scanner. Our
memberships in Verisign testify to the security and privacy of our systems.

Every
large software project contains bugs - logical errors
in the software code - that can be exploited by those
with sufficient malice or curiosity. Web servers,
firewalls, web browsers, e-mail servers, e-mail readers,
and databases, are all large software projects and
therefore contain bugs that can allow information
to be altered, destroyed, or stolen.
We
are committed to maintaining security at our sites
by monitoring certain avenues of information. We take
all reasonable and appropriate steps to insure the highest security.

If
data is transmitted over the Internet without proper
encryption, that data is susceptible to viewing by
someone for whom the data was not intended. Data is
vulnerable at all points from our servers to your
desktop - our ISP and yours, our network and yours,
and via regional access providers all along the route
from our server to you.
We
currently use the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) Protocol
with full triple-DES encryption with double (112-bit)
or triple (168-bit) length keys to protect your data
in transit. This makes the conversation of bits between
our server and your browser unintelligible to anyone
who intercepts it.

We
are committed to making our servers secure from malicious
attack. We do not use any CGI (Common Gateway Interface)
scripts at our site, as these provide a notoriously
easy way for unauthorized persons to gain access to
a system.
Our
secure server software uses 128-bit and 168-bit encryption
to protect your private, sensitive information, including
your credit card information.
If
any unauthorized use of your login ID, password, or
credit card occurs as a result of your credit card
usage with GTN, notify us via phone and/or email immediately.
You should also contact your credit card provider
in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.
Please
see our terms and conditions
of use for information specific to the use of your
login ID and password.
