Global Tax Network (GTN) has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our strong, ongoing commitment to your privacy. The following are our information gathering and dissemination practices.

We use your IP address only to help diagnose problems with our servers and administer our web site. We do not track your IP address as matched to any personal information.

When you set up an account, GTN will share your information with the tax professional you have chosen to complete your return. Your tax professional may contact you to review your tax return or to provide other tax assiatance using the information you provide them through GTN.

Registration
Our Account Access registration form requires users to give us contact information (like your name and email address). Our Online Tax Organizer collects unique identifiers (like your social security number), and financial information (like your W-2, salary, account, and credit card numbers). This information is used by your tax professional to prepare your tax return. In the event there is incomplete or missing information in your Tax Organizer, GTN or your designated tax professional may use your registration information to contact regarding your tax return.

Online Tax Organizer
Use of the GTN Online Tax Organizer requires users to provide information about marital status, dependents, income, deductions, and business activities as required to complete the users' tax returns. Users cannot file this information directly, they must have a tax professional prepare their return based on the information provided. Financial information collected by GTN is used only to bill you for services and to prepare your tax return. Unique identifiers (such as social security numbers) are collected only to verify your identity on IRS forms.

Security
GTN has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. Please see our security statement.

Cookies
The GTN site does store "Cookies" on your computer to manage your login information. Our variables require that your browser accept cookies in order to function. Since our web site is specifically designed to manage your personal tax information, disabling your browser from accepting cookies will prevent you from accessing your GTN account.

Supplementation Information
GTN sometimes supplements the information that you provide with information that is received from third parties, such as financial institutions (e.g., Forms 1099).

Choice/Opt-Out
We give users the opportunity to opt-out of receiving communications from us at any time. The following options are available for removing your information from our database, so as not to receive future communications or to no longer use our services.
